What is Invisalign Plastic Cancer?

There is no such thing as “Invisalign plastic cancer.” Invisalign aligners are made of a medical-grade thermoplastic called SmartTrack, which is FDA-approved for long-term use in the mouth. It is a non-toxic, hypoallergenic material that does not contain bisphenol A (BPA) or other harmful chemicals.

There have been a few studies that have raised concerns about the potential for Invisalign aligners to release harmful chemicals into the mouth, but these studies have been inconclusive. In fact, a more recent study found that Invisalign aligners do not release any measurable amount of BPA or other harmful chemicals into the mouth.

It is important to note that Invisalign aligners are not a medical device and are not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any disease, including cancer. However, there is no evidence to suggest that Invisalign aligners are associated with any increased risk of cancer.
